I've had a productive day today. I went to the good ol £ shop and picked up some playing cards. Still need 3 packs but i got the majority and ordered a label to go on the front from vistaprint. The OOT bags are nearly done )  I was also walking down the high street and see a closing down shop. Popped in and got 16 yes 16 shot glasses for £1..............WHAT A BARGAIN!!!!! lol. They are not the tall ones but they are a shot glass they are packed in tight packaging so all i need to do now is get names put on them and away we go!!!!!!!!!! How i'm gonna get the names on i do not know i will have to sit and work that out but 16 for a £.. i couldn't leave em there ha ha .......... tequila here we come ) x

 

Oh i also ordered some cute favor bags from Islepac and they came today too )

 

 

You're on fire! Did you know as well as getting the shot glasses engraved you can get them painted with some stuff, or you can get teeny-tiny stickers off vista print that you can stick on them and personalise as much as you want? they´re dishwasher resistant too. i´ve got a link knocking about somewhere if you're interested.

Girls what do you think of these? I've had a little go at home.....I know they are not as nice as some but to be honest only a hand full of ppl will take them home with them so just wanted cheap and cheerful

In a word? NIGHTMARE

 

Mia was fine, she just ate and played on the games on the tv thingy, we tried drugging jacob, gave him some fenergán, but only gave him half a dose so he just got a bit grumpy and was really hard work, we gave him the other half and it knocked him out within ten minutes. Then stupidly after an hour or so we decided to straighten him out and he woke up and spent the next 8 hours whinging and running up and down the plane looking for his grandparents. (while antony had disappeared up the back of the plane with his dad and 8 cans of stella!)

 

on the way back we gave him a bigger dose, he whinged for a bit, then made himself a little bed on the floor at our feet and slept for at least 5 hours. result.

 

so honestly, if you can get fenergán i´d dose scarlett up! (test it on her first tho cos it sends a small percentage of kids the other way and they go a bit hyperactive and mentall!!!! and you don´t want that on a 10 hour flight.)

Oooo, the little monkey.... lol.... thank goodness for the drugs on the way home :-) x

hiya ladies ive just been on another forum, alot of people seem to be doing a symbolic ceromony in mexico, then making it legal when they get back? is anyone from the uk doing this? and not telling there guests so they will be none the wiser??

Aww thanks girls. I was sitting here racking my little brain on how i can cheaply personalised them with all the guests names and i looked up paints/glitter pens etc but if i'm totally honest... I can't be arsed with the mess lol. So i had a looky in my craft draw and found those letters. They are rub on alphabet transfers i use for cards. On top it says 'you can use on glass' Bobs your uncle Fanny's your aunt and away i went... They look OK will do the job nicely and are cheap )... I'm a happy girlie. I've just had to order 4 more sheets as run out of a's and e's etc.. but they are only £1.01 a sheet. So for 16 personalised shot glasses its cost me a whopping £5.04 hee hee....... I DO LOVE A BARGAIN

 

I think if ppl wanted to keep them they'd last if they didn't wash the names or rub them to hard.
