I picked dreams because I loved the style of the hotel modern, fresh and new! I also didnt want a hotel in cancun because the hotels there have 0 beach and high rise hotels in your pics (which personally I don't like) I also didnt want any further than around 30 minutes from cancun as I want to go there to visit. The cost was middle of the road. Also one of my bridesmaids is 14 so I also needed a hotel which would allow kids. Everytime I see pictures of Dreams Riviera I love it more and more!

 

Only downside for you (since you mention entertainment)  I've seen on trip advisor people saying there isnt much evening entertainment - which I would have liked more but I guess its what you make it xx

My wedding package includes 2 corsages which I believe are flower things that you tie on your wrist which I planned to use for my mum and one for Garys mum. My question is this, do the colour of these flowers match the brides/bridesmaids?

 

If so I dont know that they will look right -  my mums dress is purple, Garys mum is blue and my colour scheme is orange and pink?! lol

 

Does anyone know what the norm is for these?

I never knew what a corsage was before you said - lol!  I have heard the expression before tho.

 

I have been to a couple of weddings in the last month and all female members of the wedding party had one and thinking back on both occassions the flowers and band matched the wedding colours; so yes they were the same as the BM dresses x

I got the cards from the 99p store they have a travel section and these were already in there boxed up - quite a good find.

 

I want to free and finish my OOT bags today as I dont have many more free weekends in the lead up to Christmas. x

Oh that was handy. I dont think they had them in my pound store. I'll have to go and have another look. I only need 8 and the ones online have minimum orders of like 24!!

Lol yeh i'd say they'd be the same as the bridesmaids/brides colour! If they are wearing purple and blue i'm sure pink will work fine with it )

Roo....You look amazing in your dress and the picture of you and your boys is lovely, sounds like you had an amazing time. It's ashame your friend acted the way she did while you were away her behaviour sounds very selfish.

 

I am now on the hunt for waistcoats in ivory and turquoise but don't know where to start i have had a look on a few sites but no where seems to have what i am looking for do you ladies know of any sites?

 

My sister who is going to give me away has decided she will where the same as the bridesmaids but her dress will be a long style with a more floaty type material so i don't have to keep worrying about that to much now.

I have decided to put together a bridesmaids survival kit for my 3 adult bridesmaids and with it will be a poem that lists everything that is inside i have done

most of it but need a couple more verses, one for pashminas and one for sandals but i am now stuck and struggling to get any further here is what i have so far...

I need a verse for pashmina and sandals as i have these to put into the bag but carnt think what to write in 1 line so i can finish the rhyme, i wanted to tie in the sandals with dancing in some way

 

Would much appreciate any ideas you ladies could throw my way.
