I also booked with Caribean Warehouse. I actually work for Thomson Airways too but Thomson pulled out of the Moon Palace for 2011 and when i went into Thomas Cook I didn't find them to be very helpful. I can't say enough good things about Caribean Warehouse and the girl i'm dealing with is so nice.

I booked through TC but am flying with Thomson (Which were pleased with as we like Thomson Flights & Planes better than TC) Thomson shop staff were terrible though, quite rude infact same at FC :-( The girl in TC was lovely though.... Just seemed to slack off a bit and seemed less interested when we booked :-(

Well girls it was nice going into the bridal shop today and paying off dress i was hoping to have a nosey at mine again but they dont keep it in stock (.... i am dying to try it on again. And what a div i forgot to ask about it being packed into one of those travel boxes! What a div!!

Well no progress with the TA today, they phoned the wedding department who said they were going to phone mexico and call my TA back, but at 5:30 tonight still no news getting fed up with it now their customer service is appauling

 

Michelle dont get disheartened with no weight loss this week theres always next week. My life is always busy, with 2 children aged 10 & 2 lifes never quiet.

 

I love the ticket invites did you get them printed???

Hello everybody!!  Been away for 3 days & so much to comment on!! Been to thorpe park, legoland & chessington so all theme parked out but have probably put on a stone in hotdogs & burgers

Michelle the wedding dress boxes are fine to take dress in, I asked on Saturday but didn't come back on here so get ordering & woop woop on paying off your dress, when did they tell you yours would be in shop?  Only ask because your flying only 2 days before me!! & suitcases are fab & really reasonable too.

 

Charmaine so sorry to hear your news that is so sad for you, sending lots of hugs xx

Lastly on the TA note like Nicy I really wish I had been on this site before & gone with CW, they seem to have the best customer service.....I booked through Cooperative travel, flying with thomson & first choice wedding.  Basically the shop were worse than useless, I ended up demanding the area managers number & he got a lady in their surbiton branch to call me & book us as apparently thats who he said knew everything about everything, turns out she did however surely everyone they employ should!!  Then First choice said they couldn't confirm my wedding date for 8 weeks, like I have ranted on here before I called the hotel direct & booked & confirmed my own wedding date!!  Then only today we have got back from our trip & I have a letter from first choice with forms to fill in of all our name d.o.b details etc trouble is I had this form once sent it back they apparently didn't receive, sent it out again I took it into the useless shop filled in....now have it a third time...aarrrrghhhhhhhhhhh so a trip to coop eltham tomorow to ask for my mum & dad to be upgraded free of charge as their service is utterly useless!!  lol don't know how far I'll get but if you don't ask you don't get eh?

Same thing happened to us with the form filling.... I can not begin to to tell you how angry i was.... But i guess you know that already :-( I hope this is the last time for you and good luck with getting the upgrade, you go girl, and dont give up without a fight!!!! Let us know how you get on :-)

Thanx girls hopefully next week i will have lost some more weight! I put it down to the drinking sunday night and mcdonalds the following day! (

 

Sounds like you had a fun packed 3 days! We are taking the kids Thorpe Park on the 11th. Can't wait haven't been for ages.

 

Oh that is good the dress shop said it's ok for the boxes! They just said to me they will ring me when it comes in. I really wanted to see it when i was in there but it's not one they keep in store (.. When i first purchased it she said my first fitting should be in January so i can't wait for that. )

 

Another lovely friend has booked up to come with us ).. she is on her own and doing 10nights and had to pay a supplement but was so excited to come she's willing to do it. She booked with Caribbean collection.co.uk. Another really helpful lady. Great customer service with them too )

 

I am stressing about our photographer!! The new ones dont seem much better than the old ones really! I've been looking at all the different hotel photographers and ours is pants in comparison! Dreams have great onsite photographers.. i'm jealous. Outside photographers at our hotel have to stay a minium of 2 nights or a $300 fee each for a day pass so it will work out costly to get someone in (
