Hi Everyone

Josietoms - How exciting!!!!! Before you know you'll be on plane on way to becoming a Mrs.....

Loving the flip flops :-)

I have spoken to Thomsons and I don't know what to do after the explosion they are not taking any further bookings for this year but bookings are normal for next year.... They say once the hotel is rebuilt they will send their own inspectors to make sure it is safe.... I'm not getting married until Oct but I have people who would like to book but I don't know what to do???? I can change resort and even country which I know some people have but they will charge me an admin fee!!!!! Any advice anyone... I really want to get married here but I am getting really stressed over it..... Maybe I should wait until after Christmas... Am I being a bit neurotic as I have got nearly a year to go?????

I was just wondering what colours you are putting the men in including H2B, and are they dressing in suits or more casual??

My dad is wearing casual, beige trousers and an Aqua shirt. My FI will bw wearing something similar if he dosent opt for the kilt (hes in 2 minds at the mo with the weight of it and the 1PM wedding slot (heat) x

Hi Ladies

Well i thought i had managed to steal a bargain with the bridesmaids shoes however it's ended in disappointment and i am back to square 1!!!!

1 pair of the shoes arrived but they were marked with some kind of red ink and the rest of the order barratts were unable to fulfil so i have had to organise a full refund and start searching again i am gutted as they were perfect and exactly what i was looking for but hey ho back to the drawing board.

Charmaine....The shoes are really pretty will definatly have a look at that site, not sure what the boys are wearing as shaun wants to choose it himself!! last time we spoke they was talk about white linen suits but still no decision made will keep you posted though, what about you have you made any decisions?

It's scary to think i am now only 10 months away aarrgghhhhhh thats going to whizz by whoooo

Vicki x

Argh!!! What a bummer about the shoes... i know it dosent help but they obviously werent meant to be andthe ones you do end up getting will be so much more perfect!!!

It really will whizz by!!! :-) So exciting x

Love those flip flops char!

Had my hen party on Saturday nite - i am far to old to stay out until 4.30 - i couldnt move on Sunday!  When shopping with BMs on Monday and got them a pashmina each and flower for their hair; yesterday got my underwear and my final dress alteration underway.

FIs stag next weekend, Christmas shopping to do and then all of the sudden it will be time for us to depart - arrrggghhh - 7 weeks on Friday.  Gonna have to do a final list tonight and work out how much money I need to find in 7 weeks - we have been so lucky though we havent used our credit cards once - but have had no money to ourselves for months - but I'm sure I wont regret it  x

Hey Josie was only thinking about you and your hen the other day :-) Haha... 4.30 stop out, thats great x Im hoping to do the same (if i can last) :-) Nothing worse than the day after a night like that...

A few more things ticked off the list.. Fantastic,

I really cant believe its 7 weeks til you fly!!! How scairly fast has that come round!!! :-)

The only time so far we used CC was to pay for wedding and hol but we did have the money to pay straight on to CC as i wanted the extra protection with the CC :-)

Only i am going to have to use again to get the dress i want but i found one at 0% on purchases for 12 months and because i want my dress so much then it has to be done as i originally only budgeted for the knock off dress at £155 and since im not getting that anymore then we need the CC.... but 0% for 12 months is fine by me :-)

On that note........................

I have booked my apt today for next wednesday to go and get measured for my dress.... Whoo Whoo.. finally pulled my finger out of my a**!!!

I will order and put deposit on too.... did ask to see if they would discount the dress coz im cheeky like that which she said she couldnt do but said she will throw a veil in for free... so £110 veil for nothing.... :-) Not bad.....

My dress is finally being ordered!!!! :-) Starting to feel "real now" x0x

Carrie we booked with BlueBay too! SO helpful!

Jo so glad you had a good hen, any pix? 7weeks OMG so exciting!!!

Charmaine! LOVE the flip flops so pretty and girlie, defo a bit of me!

Sam i would wait till after xmas, it's only 5weeks away. See how you feel in the new yr. I can imagine it's a worry with ppl booking up but i'm sure it will work itself out and everything happens for a reason. Easy for me to say but try not to stress. See how it goes you have plenty of time to change hotels in the new yr should you chose to.

Nicy - so excited for you hun! That is great news. Can't wait for an update on Wednesday :o) and a free veil. Check you out! Well done x

I've been a bit run down lately! had a blasted coldsore up my nose for 3wks thats only just gone then my top lip decides it's time to get some. So sore and have a duck pout. Not a good look. Hopefully it's the last of it now!! Boooooo coldsores!!!!!!!!!

Going to order Scarletts flowergirl dress on sunday. The shop is doing 20% up until xmas so ordering it now instead of the new yr. Plus she said they take 3months to come in!!! Another tick off the list :o) Will try and take pix!

josie let me see your final list.... you seem to be a lot more organised than me, and we leave in 6 weeks....

have you got photos from your hen do? 4.30am is most impressive, i was comatose by 1 on my hen do, and managed 3 on our hag do but it was a messy affair!

i hear you on the money front, everything is paid for, but with my car dying a couple of weeks ago, that used up the last of my stash and we're now on credit card spending.... got all xmas pressies done tho, and hopefully santa will bring me some pennies.....

we got our first wedding card today from our neighbours who are going back to england tomorrow for xmas.... i was desperate to open it to see if there's some €€€€€ in there, but apparently we have to wait! got to buy underwear and shoes now, my primark bridget jones' will not do at all!

@michelle, thanks for the advice on cerazette, 3 weeks later and my skin has cleared up loads, still got marks from old zits, but no new ones, and hopefully a week of sun will hide a multitude of sins....

@nicy, which dress did you finally go for?

I'll have a look as I have found them before and if you are having a legal ceremony you are not allowed to change them at all.  You can add your own things in later on but they have to read a certain script to make it legal and it is a bit like - the woman will bow to the man at all times - lol!  You are also not allowed to interupt the judge at all.  This is one of the reasons a lot of the US brides dont have a legal ceremony along with all the paperwork requirements! x
