I am getting married at Now Jade Resort, Puerto Morelos - November 25, 2010!! One (short) month from today!!

A little late to be joining the forum, but whatever better late than never. We have 52 guests booked!!! YAY!!

I am leaving one week before our guests on the 14th of November to get all details finalized.

Has anyone got married at Now Jade before? Any tips?

We are considering getting married on the Pergola or the Seaside Garden - any suggestions? We want the ceremony site to be beautiful & private.

Also, I am concerned the Ocean Front Terrace will not be large enough for all 52 of us and our DJ. Also, where does the head table go on the Ocean Front Terrce?

The other option is the Yellow Bamboo Room, which holds max 100 guests, but we worry it will feel cold & empty with only 52 of us? I would rather be cramped, than have the room feel empty.

 

Any & all suggestions welcome!

Hi Ally!

 

My wedding is at the Now Jade in less than 2 weeks! Nov 7th!  We are having about 65 people and our ceremony is at the Pergola.  We are using the ocean front terrace for the reception, and having dancing/dj at the Pergola area which is right next to it later on.  I'm still deciding on our "head table"...we might have it be the first table closest to the dancing, or in between with 3 or 4 tables on each side.  I was worried about space too, but originally the WCoordinator told me the space was best for up to 80 people. I have pictures and video from our spring site visit, I'd be happy to email you.

Is anyone else worried about the weather? According to accuweather, it's rain rain rain until Nov 9th!!! (the latest day they show).  I'm crossing my fingers for the 13th...oh my goooosh, it's apparantly the rainiest year EVER!!!!

Hey ladies! wow..havent been on here in awhile...it seems like i lost the last month somewhere....havent been to the gym, havent been on here...well i leave sat morning...1 more day! i cant wait!!!! im so excited...i was nervous about the weather, but i checked today and it seems to be better, now looks like sun starting this wknd..ill keep my fingers crossed im getting married next friday, november 5th at Aventura Spa Palace...we have 52 ppl coming with us...woo hoo! Oh no I didn't hear about this. That is horrible OMG it better not rain. We need some sun for the days we are there and nice weather for the wedding.
