Looking to get married in Mexico the week after Christmas..

Hi my name is Cassidy. I would like to have my wedding somewhere in Mexico the week after Christmas. Looking for a good deal!!! My sister had her wedding in Cabo, winter before last and 86 people came. I need a resort that can accommodate a larger party.

Maybe you will be able to find something in your price range, but I know from my past work in the travel industry. The holidays are considered to be peak/prime time for resorts so do not be surprise if the rates are high than you expect.

Hi Cassidy and welcome to the forum. The week after Christmas is definitely the most expensive and crowded time to head to Mexico. And you may also want to consider that some (or many) of your guests might not be able to travel around that time if they are traveling to see family for the holidays and have holiday plans. Just a thought. Regardless of what you decide, I'm sure your wedding will be fantastic.

Welcome to the forum! We got married in Puerto Vallarta the week after US Thanksgiving and the weather was so awesome. Dreams can accomodate large groups with no problem. Happy planning!

We had planned to get married that week, but when we saw the price difference (& airline prices), we switched our plans and decided on a summer wedding instead. At the resort we chose, that week had a pricing schedule all its own & it was by far the most expensive. I hope you can find something that works out. There is a lot of information on this site. I'm sure there are lots of brides on this site getting married at that time of year. Search the posts and you can find tons of good info.
