Our guests are slow at booking as well - I'm hoping getting invites out this month will put some pressure on them, but probably not!

I'm getting married in Villa Rolandi, Isla Mujeres on June 11, 2011. 6 months to go and I'm so behind with everything! It sounds like you ladies have so many things completed already. I've only done save the dates, website, hotel/date...and....wow, that's it! I don't even have a dress!! I have to stop procrastinating!!

Welcome marichu77!  Good luck with the planning!  I would definitely get on your dress - I ordered mine in September and it's not here yet.  It comes in February (so 5 months!).

Hello girls!  June 4th at Azul Sensatori!!  Have any of you booked a photographer yet?  Was wondering some ballpark prices!

I am picking up my invitations from Staples today, and plan on getting them together and send out this week! Yesterday I realized how short time I have (our wedding is June 11 and we are leaving for Mexico June 6th, so 5 months!) so I got right on the invitations. I only have 2 people booked so far other than us, so I am a little stressed, but I hope it's because they aren't booking because they haven't received a formal invite yet!!

 

As for photographers ginnigurl, I have booked and paid for my photographers...we are bringing them (a married couple) from Canada for the cost of their flight and hotel, and we get their most expensive package. We thought it was definitely worth it!-- I guess that means we have 4 people booked!! Lol.

I can't wait, but feel like I have soo much to do!!

Congrats!!  I booked Octavio Montes (www.octaviomontes.com).  His rates are 650 for 3 hours, 799 for 4 hours and 950 for 5 hours (and $200 for a TTD session).  He is the most affordable person I've found.  Others are anywhere between $1000 - 2000.  La Luna has beautiful photography, as well as DelSol, but they were out of my price range.  It depends on what your budget is!

We booked Sascha Gluck   Love his work and it was more reasonable than some photogs, but not all.  We're paying $1300 for 4 or 5 hours (I forget which)!

Congrats on getting your invites done!  Our wedding date is right after yours and our timelines are similar - I'm sending out invites this week.  They are stuffed and ready to go.  I just want to get our registries finalized before the invites go out

Hi girls!  I am also a June 2011 bride.  I am getting married at Aventura Cove Palace on June 11th.  We will be there from June 6th to June 13th.  So far we have booked the hotel, date confirmed, ordered my dress, ordered bridesmaid dresses, invitations sent out and a few odds and ends still alot to do though.  I am still looking into possibly booking an outside photographer.  My package comes with one but I worry that the pictures won't be up to my standard.
