Any Barcelo Premium Punta Cana Brides?

We are sticking with the least expensive package and adding on the extras that we want (bonfire on the beach, live music for the ceremony, etc.) Most of the items included in the packages were things we didn't really care too much about, so it just made more sense to add on the things we really wanted.

Hi.  We are also getting married in Barcelo Punta Cana on June 25th.  We're very excited.  We stayed at that resort last year in May and have no complaints.  The service was great and we really loved the resort.  We have been in touch Ariana.  As you get closer to the date you will communicate a lot more with Ariana.  We are not using the resorts photographer.  We did a lot of research and decided we are going to use Caribbean Emotions for the the video and photography. Reasonably priced and will be saving money compared the resort photographer. 

I am waiting on quotes for the decor/floral arrangements from El Tronco.  From the sounds of it, calling them is better than emailing them. 

Overall, we chose Barcelo Punta Cana because we really enjoyed our stay there last year.  They are reasonable with their prices compared to other resorts.  So far we have 65 confirmed guests going to the wedding and that number may keep increasing.  Its a nice resort for everyone - families, couples & singles.

We have been looking at the packages as well but don't have a list of the extra's that have been referred to so we were thinking Strawberry Passion.  Does anyone know how much it is per person over the maximum's that they list.  We have not received much yet from the wedding co-ordinator.

Hey ladies, I am starting to wonder if they sent me the correct packages because on the website it is giving me the same packages that you are talking about but that isn't the packages they sent to my email. It is A LOT cheaper actually then what they have online. I need to make sure that they sent me the correct things!

Definitely do the beach party on beach! We did this for our wedding there in march, and it was amazing! We loved everything about our wedding day,ariana did amazing flowers were amazing, reception was so much fun, we had it at marlin. We used jorge allocco for photos, he was fabulous and reasonable. I have no regrets and you all will have magical weddings!!
