Hi, my name is Bridget. I am a nwew bride to be planning my wedding in riviera maya, mexico. I have been searching resorts and came across this sight in hope of some inspiration from other brides. We are bringing my 15month old daughter along with a select few close family members, so finding a place that is both romantic and child friendly is a major concern of mine. any input would be greatly appreciated! Bridget

Hello Bridget!! Congrats and Welcome to the forum!! Where in mexico are you looking? FYI; Dreams resorts, Moon Palace resort, Grand bahia and a few other that I didn't mention are kid-friendly. I booked with Moon Palace golf & Spa resort in Cancun. I've read great reviews on MP and my Wedding Specialist highly recommended it. Hope you'll find a resort that'll suit your needs. You'll find tons of information on this site as well as any answers to questions that you may have. "Happy Planning"!!

There are threads on both Dreams and Palace resorts and will give you tons of info and reviews. Both are wonderful, it just depends on your taste and what location you want. We wanted a little off of the tourist path and Dreams Puerto Vallarta gave that to us. But the Mayan Riviera is always beautiful and easier to swallow for some guests who are not used to traveling to Mexico.

Welcome Bridget!!!

There are so many great resorts to choose from in the Riviera Maya, it almost a bit overwhelming! Dreams has a great reputation as far as weddings go, is fairly upscale (but not necessarily TOO pricey), and is family friendly. I wanted my two nieces to be my flower girls so family friendly was a must for me as well. Good luck with all your planning :)
