THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! You ladies are all awesome.  I think some of it is pre wedding jitters, and I just want everything to be PERFECT!!!

Anybody else want to chime in on the spa details?

Let your guests know that if they are interested in the Spa, sometimes its not worth it to book ahead.  You will receive a newsletter in your room every day with the activities going on and "spa specials" for the day.  This is a much cheaper route if you take advantage of it.  The Spa is nice and during the pool games they will give spa prizes (i.e. use of the Hydro Tub).

Ohhh ok! Well shoot I guess I will not book a "group event" then. I was thinking of doing something the morning of the wedding since the wedding is not until 5pm.

I would just email your WC and the spa to see if they would offer a group special.  I'm sure they will.  Don't know til you ask.  Plus, if it is a big group, then you want to be assured that they have the time slots available and aren't already booked.

Not sure if this helps you girls any, but I am using PhotoSouveneir for both my pictures and my video.  They have some sample videos on youtube ....this one happens to be at the Excellence Punta Cana, and I think there are a few others.  ...always neat to see a real wedding take place..

Thanks for sharing Kitty! That video is AWESOME! We are having a separate photographer, but we do get the 15 min video included in our package.  Did you correspond directly with Photosouvenir, or through the wedding coordinator at Excellence to set all of that up?

Hey Diva,

Based on my correspondence with Photosouvenir, they basically are holding the date for me since I told them about my wedding at Excellence and they said I could decide on which package I want when I get there.  I imagine if I were doing a video, I would probably mention that in the initial correspondence since it means an extra person.  FYI, I emailed them through their website and was corresponding with Reno via: [email protected]  Hope that helps. Saw on another forum you're doing the legal thing first and very soon, how exciting! We actually went back and forth on this and now after spending so much more than expected on other things, I think we're going to do the legal thing here first as well.

I'm back & now Mrs. Thomas!! We had a WONDERFUL time & I'm hoping to get my review done tommorrow. It figures, we were in nice warm sunny weather all week in the DR & it was freezing when we got home so I've been sick all week long. Congratulations Amy! So sorry to hear that your sick.  The weather looks like it was absolutely perfect for your wedding day. Great photos, you really have some great moments captured on film.  Get well soon!
