Reception after DW

I am having a reception a few weeks after we get back from Mexico - it is going to be a formal reception (DJ, Cake, Caterer) just like a regular wedding reception and I am debating on what to wear - Should I wear my wedding dress? I have mixed feelings on it. What is everyone else doing.

Hmm since its more formal, I would. Besides if most of the people that are going to your reception is unable to attend your DW then I say go for it.. Besides your spending so much money on a dress, might as well get the most out of it.. :-)

If you want to wear it, go for it. I think people will enjoy seeing you in your dress. Why the mixed feelings?

 

I'm having a casual party afterwards, but if I feel like it I'm wearing the dress

I know a lot of people seem to wear the dress after, but you could totally wear something different. Or buy a much less exspensive wedding dress to wear at your AHR.

I'm wearing mine to my AHR next Saturday. I'm glad to have another reason to wear it!

I did a disney DW in March, then did their reception they held here - she wore her dress to the reception but only for a short time & then changed into a cute white party dress!

I say go for it as well, it's formal, so why not?? but then again if you don't feel like you want to wear another dress..

We are having 2 AHR. Not wearing my dress to the more casual one .... but I am wearing it to our second one where many relatives who couldn't attend DW will be there.

I say go for it, enjoy feeling like a princess again, after all you are still the bride!!!
