My name is Leanne... getting married April 2011 in the Mayan Riviera. Thinking about the Grand Sunset Princess or Dreams Riviera Cancun. Any advise or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Leanne! Welcome! This forum is great and filled with lots of helpful info.

 

For general info on resorts in the area, check out the Riviera Maya/Cancun Forum. You can also do a search for those resorts. I'm also pretty sure that there are reviews of Dreams RC (and maybe Grand Sunset Princess) in the wedding review sub-forum.

Congratulations Leanne and welcome to the forums! The biggest difference between Dreams Cancun and Grand Sunset Princess is size! Dreams Cancun is much smaller and located right in the heart of the Cancun strip as well. So guests can venture out and have all shopping at their finger tips. Both are very picturesque!

we decided on the royal pdc instead b/c no children will be attending, but for a while we were also looking at dreams riviera cancun, the gazebo looks amazing, its family friendly and the decor is clean & modern. check out tripadvisor for some hotel reviews.
