Small (villa) resort?

Hi,

 

we are looking for a villa resort or a small hotel for a secret wedding at the Bahamas. Is there anyone who knows some good resort? We have been thinking about Bimini Bay or Sunrise Beach Villas, but is there more nice resorts? Can you recommend something?

I'm interested in doing something like this myself. I've heard of brides using a place called Compass Point but they may be a little pricey. I've heard of Sunrise Beach but haven't been able to find much information on them. Did you find info online?

Do you know which island you want to get married on? Old Bahama Bay on Grand Bahama is nice. Marsh Harbour in the Abacos is a nice island too.

I think Compass Pointe fits the description. A pricier option is the One and Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island....right across the street is the beautiful Cloisters where you can have your ceremony.

Have you looked at A Stone's Throw Away in Nassau? It's a small bohemian style Bed and breakfast. my fiance and I along with our guests are staying here, but our ceremony/ reception is at Compass Point. The rooms at Compass point were too expensive for our guests price range and the B&B is just right down the road. 

 

Also there are some beautiful villas, depending on your price range, that is another idea.
