YAY! and congrats!

I also am a 2011 bride. But we are thinking later in the year, november or december. Punta Canan seems to be where we are leaning towards too. I'm hoping for prices about $1500 or less and a family freindly resort as there will most likely be 2 or 3 kids around 12 yrs.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your planning. I totally understand about not being able to decide. I still don't have a venue, but that is only because I couldnt afford the one I finally chose. So it was back to the drawing board for me.  I hope you have much more luck with your decision making.   There are many resources and helpful people on here so you shouldn't have any trouble whatsoever.

I can't give any answers from Toronto, but I also had some struggles with this process.  I actually gave up for awhile because I became so overwhelmed.  In my area, I could not find someone that had much destination wedding experience and they told me that they'd have to wait for package deals to come out.  Even after I got to the 10 month timeframe the local TA's told me to wait for, it was still very complicated.  In the end, I contacted a TA from BDW and she has be extremely helpful.  You can click on their banner at the top of any page.  Good luck with your search!
