This thread is great...it's the first time i see it. I am getting married at Dreams Cancun Resort and Spa on May 7, 2011! I am really starting get worried about these flights. So far I have about 40people booked so far but a lot were waiting till after the holidays. I hope they can find cheap flight or else my list of guest will drop. Glad I found this thread you girls keep me focused! Thanks!!

Where is everyone flying from? We just found 99$ each way out of the east coast airports on american airlines

Airtran is currently offering $99 each way out of Atlanta. If you have more than 10 people flying you can also set up an "event rate" with Airtran. For us it worked better than a group booking because people can fly out of different airports on different dates and times and still use our discount off of their fare. You just need to fill out the form on their website and a rep will contact you within 2 days.

We are all flying out of Chicago - United just added a flight but ALL of us are booking through Apple which includes your airfare....

ps - So excited I have to share - I booked our THANK YOU surprise to our guests yesterday - we are chartering a 65ft catamaran privately for our guests the day after the wedding....its called the Cata Maya - 65ft, 3 bathrooms with showers, snacks, open bar, snorkeling, swimming, and fishing!!! YAY!!  What are you girls doing for thank yous??  Any fun ideas??

Great idea!  I wanted to do something like that, but it seems our group is a bit large.  Do you know the highest number of people they can accommodate?  And would you mind sharing the $$?

We plan on renting a catamaran as well.  Only this is for the rehearsal dinner as a way of saying Thank-you to our guests.  I was going to wait until I was able to talk to my wedding coordinator and get her reccomendations.  I was hoping to pay around $2000 for about 35 ppl.  I may be crazy though!
