Yes I think at this point I might not be able to afford to change dresses and I was told that it might be too late to order one from production at this point.... sooooo I think I might just have to put some personal touches to my dress to hopefully fall in love in it and feel amazing in it

Can you PM a pic?  Just curious what you are planning on changing.  :)  I will do the same.

They do have the tags on them but they said that there's nothing they can do about it. the item is not in stock anymore so they can't even give a store credit. Do you think it's too late to change my bridesmaid's dresses to a simple black dress? The guys are going to wear black ties so i 'm thinking if i have the girls in black dresses all my decorations will pop more.

no way to let it out? i don't know how it looks like, but if it's zipper back, maybe see if you can alter it to be lace up so there's some room?

my friend went to her seamstress and turned a high backed, back zippered dress so could no longer zip up to the top into a "v-back" dress with a low zipper.

or add a panel of a fabric?

I love the black dress idea. I am letting my girls choose their own dress and they seem to be pretty happy with that.

So you paid for the first dress, right? I would just consider not asking your bride's maids to buy two dresses. I think they wouldn't mind buying a black dress that they could use later.

By the way, this story makes me not to ever buy anything from Forever 21 again!

I think That's what i 'm doing, i 'm paid for the first dress so it's up to them whether they want to buy their own black dress or go with the one i already bought. I think that way it would go perfect.

OMG i know trust me i was soo angry with forever 21 but i mean it was my fault and i should have not been so eager to buy my dresses.

I went and took notes of EVERYTHING on the resort so I can add the info in my welcome booklets (ie: restaurants, schedule of activities, even the special names for BAR DRINKS!!)

Also get to know AS MANY MANAGERS as you can.... LOL hopefully they'll remember you when you come back for your wedding and give you TOP NOTCH service!!
If you can, also grab brochures, maps, tour info, etc that you can use to stuff your welcome bags!!!

In terms of inspecting your ceremony site:  just try to envision your BIG day and how you'd want things.  Ask as many questions possible, ask for all your alternative options if something they show you isn't what you thought it would be, and always negotiate!!  My hotel is giving me a priviate welcome dinner for ~90-100 guests FREE!!!  *I know its an AI resort anyway, but private dinners usually require a rental fee and wait/bar staff charges, etc.
