Bye Tris!  The same thing almost happened to me but thankfully things worked out. Now I have more than enough seats and more to spare!  Sometimes travel agents/airlines say they're all booked and end up adding another plane... good luck planning for a month earlier than you expected!

I am still torn with my date but will likely bump it up to May 26th to have it earlier in the week.  I'll be finalizing things with the hotel on my site visit on the 20th!  I can't wait!!!  I'm dyyying for a vacation!!

Have a great time!! I just got back from my site visit 2 weeks ago, and it was soo much fun! I needed a vacation for sure, but it was different this time thinking about it being where I was going to get married...had a different feel & soo exciting!!!

I went on my site visit last weekend, and felt the exact same way!!  It was so much different than a normal vacation.  I kept visualizing my wedding, and it was the coolest feeling!

Hey ladies, 

 

Wow everyone here is so on top of everything.  I am glad I found this thread, maybe it will help me get a move on!  I have my wedding booked for May 20, 2011 at Dreams Punta Cana.  I am sending out my STD this week, but still not sure when to send out formal invites.  I was also not planning on looking at dresses until I lost a few pounds, but it looks like I should start now!

Have you got everything ready? My invites will be ready soon so I guess I will be sending them soon. My oot bags are not ready yet, the menu is halfway through the planning, my dress is ready , haven´t decided on the shoes or the brides dresses,  My hairdo and my make-up still in the air!!!, what Am I missing?
