Stress seems to be our good friend these days. It's understandable when melt-downs happen. Alright ladies, because we have all been a stressed and having our difficulties (last night my fiance pulled his back while trying to beat me in bowling and can essentially do nothing but lay in bed - fan-freakin-tastic), so I thought I needed to remind us why we should be excited.  Hope this helps all of us:

Loving the pictures Courtney Leigh!  What a good idea - get excited again ladies!!!!  I finally started packing some things up in suitcases and I'm SO GLAD I started now.  This stuff takes up WAY more room than I thought!  EEK!!!  So far I have 2 checked bags just with wedding stuff (programs, seating cards, OOT bags).  How did that happen???  We need to buy more luggage! 

 

But, it does make me feel way better knowing that things aren't in random piles at my place anymore... at least it's organized chaos! haha

 

I'm mainly stressing about our programs.  I decided to DIY program fans (the kind w/ the stick in the middle) and these are taking so much longer than I thought they would :-(  Luckily one of my BMs is going to help this weekend.  Once those are done (and that damn play list) we'll be in good shape!

Packing early is soo critical.  I found out I was too good of a packer.  2 of my 3 bags are overweight.  I had to take out some items to leave at home and hand off to my parents about 4 lbs of sunscreen.

Packing, packing, packing, ughhh

 

I felt like I got some stuff done during the day yesterday. It felt great to pack up all the decor for the AHR (there is alot). It's so nice to have it all sitting by the door ready to go when I get home. I am doing mostly all the decorating myself (I am anal and have a certain way I picture things). I will pretty much only have two days. We get home the 16th and the AHR is the 19th. So i am getting anxious about the million and one things I will have to get done during that time. I am just trying to be as prepared as i can be now.

 

My FI started packing all his stuff last night while I laid on the couch feeling horrible. He tried on his ceremony outfit again which got me really excited, but also got me thinking..... For the ceremony I will be barefoot adorned with red-i by chelsea jewels(FI has no clue about this). We got him some nice shoes for the ceremony a while back that match well and look great when considering just his outfit. I don't know if it will seem weird with him wearing shoes and me being barefoot. Neither one of us really like his outfit as much with the flip-flops. I don't want to tell him I will be barefoot so I can't ask what he thinks about it. What do you ladies think?

 

BTW  I slept from about 9 last night to about noon. Thank God I work for my FI cuz I woke up feeling just as terrible. I canceled my final dress fitting today : (   Hopefully i will be feeling better by wed. so I can go then

Oh by the way, the pics of Mexico put a huge smile on my face, thank you Courtney.

When you ask my niece who just turned 2 where she is going next week she says "MEX-CO" ....... too right girlie!! On saying that when you ask her who is getting married she says "Uncle Mike", and then when you ask her who he is marrying she responds with "ME" (as in her!!). LOL, she is too funny, but we might be fighting for my man on the day!!

Thanks Joanne!  In 24 hours I will be en route to Cancun...  I will get back on Thursday night (late) Nov 10th and be in to work on the 11th.  If I can manage, I will definitely try and post on the 11th - though only Taryn and Sarah will still be at home to read it!
