November 2011 Brides (or Grooms)

I will actually need everything packed the night before we leave.  Our flight is at 6am so we will have to wake up around 3am to get ready, out the door and to the airport.  I plan on loading the car the night before - wedding dress and all.  6am is early, but that means we land in Cancun (after a layover in Houston) a little after 10am so that makes it worth it in my mind.

I can't believe how fast the time is going, it's crazy!! I had it in my head that we had 3 weeks and 3 days left before we fly but I realized today that it's just 2 weeks and 2 days, I almost had a heart attack!! I just lost a whole week!

This weekend I hope to get everything for the wedding packed up, and if ambitious enough am going to tackle all my own vaction clothes and stuff too. I hate packing to begin with so have been trying to put it off.

We have a 7am flight, so need to hit the road by 4am, maybe a little earlier so I will be doing the same, everything will be loaded up the night before! We have direct flights and have private transfers meaning we won't have to stop at other resorts so should be there lovely and early.

I really think i am going to be doing things right up until the night before! Thank God once we get to Mexico I have to release control and just relax!!

I had a dress fitting this evening and it's going great. So far she has had to hem it, take in around hips and waist as I wanted it fitted, let out around the bust (which is weird because I am fairly small busted), add cups, and do the bussle. Now that we finalized those tonight, she just needs to sew in the sash I am adding, so I pick it up next Thursday. Can't wait to bring my baby home!

It's so lovely to be able to talk to so many other lovely ladies who are in the same position as me. I love this website!

I am going to try and get everything done the weekend before we leave on Wednesday morning so I have time to try and think of anything I missed.  In order to try and destress when we get to Mexico, Paul and I have scheduled our included couple's massage (it comes with the wedding package we are buying) for the first evening in Cancun.  I scheduled it outside at a beach palapa at 5:00pm and sunset is 5:10pm - I hope it is as pretty as I picture it to be.

Was that question for me? My legal wedding is 2 weeks from today, we are doing it right before we leave for Mexico.

 

Couples massages, can't wait! It is included in our package too, haven't scheduled it yet but plan on doing it befor ethe wedding as well to relax.

I already started packing my OOT stuff. But i am slightly starting to panic. More due to AHR than DW. I should not be on this site, but What can I say....I'm addicted! 

 

I still have to finish table assignments, make about 110 escort cards and attach them to the starfish with ribbon.

 

I just had my fitting for both dresses and am now worried that my three month pregger belly will grow in the next couple weeks. I keep having dreams that I won't fit in my dress on our wedding day!

Girls - how is the time flying like this?!?!?  AHHH I'm so excited for everyone :-)   I have my second fitting this weekend, we're picking up bands next week.   Assembling the programs next week too.

 

I totally keep forgetting about our AHR and that's realllllly starting to sneak up on me.  OOPS!  That's Jan 7th and we're sending invites for that next week.

 

We leave in 25 DAYS!  Can I start packing yet?! lol

Yes pack on!!! One of my suitcases are already packed, we leave November 8th.....right around the corner

Oh girls its so exciting isn't it - we fly in 16 days! I had my final dress fitting yesterday and I am so pleased with how it looks, it fits perfectly and I just love it! I am taking my h2b's ring down to be engraved tomorrow, I'm really excited because its a surprise for him and I just know he will love it! 

 

I also had my hair trial this week, which is another thing to tick off the list - I was really really pleased with the results. 

 

I am hoping to pack next weekend, although I have two days off work before we fly and we fly on a Sunday so actually have 3 whole days to pack and be excited! And believe me I will be excited. 

 

I have been checking out our hotels webcam and despite having days of rain last week, the weather has been gorgeous this week which has just added to the excitement.
