LOVE THIS BOOK!
You can use whatever picture that you have on your computer, as long as they are the right format. I'm not sure what would prevent you from uploading pictures into the software itself... Blurb has really great help files and tutorial videos, I'm sure you'll find the answer to your specific issue on there!
