Go to the spa! Maybe get your nails or hair done, a facial always makes me feel great and fresh!

 

oh and wear some "come F'me pumps" Those never fail to make me feel hot and shoes are a girls best friends....or is that diamonds? I think its both.

So I saw this thread and me being on the other side of the lens... what could I as a photographer make you feel more comfortable or at ease?

 

Jessica - It may be a good idea to tell the photog ahead of time what you're self conscious about. Also tell them what you like most about yourself and your FH's fave body part I find that always helps me.

 

Jen - that's what i think too. I have so much fun with my bd girls!

Melissa - thanks for the advice from the other perspective.

 

Yeah I've been tanning, but it's just not doing the trick to make me feel better. Done the nails, should go get a facial....I think in all honesty, it's just nerves and I hope they'll all go out the window like you all say once I get there!!

Lexibride- these BD shoot are not about being perfect, because NONE of us are. It definitely helps when you feel sexy at these shoots (I just had mine). As skadow said before, use something that makes you feel sexy. For me it was heels, so i brought a TON of heels. Also, take time to practice in front of your mirror at home, it good for immediate feedback, you see what looks good (ie sticking out boobs and butt, sucking in tummy). After all is said and done, your FI thinks you are perfect the way you are so show him something he will NEVER forget. . . go for it girl. . . knock his socks off!!!

If you haven't already, don't get a facial now. It's too close now. Facials are notorious for overstimulating your skin and causing breakouts. You never ever want to do waxing or facials too close to any major event.

 

I was extremely nervous last week before my boudoir too. Believe me, it all goes away. And as my photographer said when I told her I was self conscious about my tummy.... that's what photoshop is for!

Please don't worry, you are going to look so sexy!!! Once you get started your nerves will begin to ease and your photographer will pose you in ways that show off your best assests!! Have fun and let loose!
