Newbie - Looking for a boutique hotel

Hi!

 

After my fiance and I attended a family member's wedding at Rockhouse in Jamaica (AWESOME destination wedding venue), we decided we wanted a destination wedding. We are looking for a boutique hotel in Mexico or the Caribbean for about 60 guests, and plan on having the wedding next April or May 2011. For various reasons, we have crossed Jamaica, Puerto Rico, and Dominican Republic off our list.

 

Any suggestions/tips would be GREAT!

Hi Tweets welcome and happy planning. Can I ask what features you are looking for other than it being a boutique hotel. Are you looking for great restaurants in the area? Snorkeling and outdoor activities? Just asking cause before deciding on the Turks & Caicos we considered quite a few Caribbean islands, some we had been to some we hadn't and everywhere from Turks & Caicos right down the list of islands to my home country of Trinidad and Tobago. I would love to make a few suggestions or help but if you can narrow it down to what else you want in the destination itself.

you will find so much help and advice on here

i would suggest just having a look through the various threads and see if there is anywhere you definately like or better yet research the type of thing you are looking for and see which destinations fit this and then start looking at brochures for those places and then you can narrow it down to a few hotels to choose from and then look at the reviews on here xx
