I am planning on just reserving space at the buffet restaurant for the welcome/rehearsal dinner. I can't see spending more money on another dinner there!

No kidding!!! Especially not at $22/person plus service and tax. I understand they treat it as a set menu kind of thing, but that just seems crazy when you're at an all-inclusive!

For those of you doing a TTD are you doing it at the resort or offsite?

I am doing mine on the beach at the resort and offsite at a cenote. not sure exactly which one yet. May do a full day at xel-ha or xplor or just some remote cenote.

Hi ladies! So is there a restaurant we can have a rehearsal dinner and not have to pay the $22 per person? I'd like to have a space reserved but I really don't want to pay $22 per person to do this.

apparently they don't do any reservations at the restaurants! So I would venture a guess and say no.

I know the only place you can have one without paying is the buffet.
