lindzee602- I'll have to get a sneak peak of your wedding....if you don't mind. Have you decided when you will fly down there/ how long you will be staying? Where are you having your ceremony/cocktail hour/reception? Also...who is your travel agent?  Sorry to pepper you with questions!!

Ok I just made more friend confirmations so feel free to keep looking. I guess you can't have a religious ceremony on Sunday. There is a lobby bar. It's all enclosed and my FMIL said that no matter how much they try the AC doesn't keep it as cool because of the doors opening and closing but she said it's nice. The pictures of the liquor they have that is on my page is from the lobby bar. 

 

Ok for my Dallas brides who are you guys using for your TA? After thinking long and hard about it I'm not happy with mine at all.

I am having a symbolic wedding too and specifically asked about Sunday, but Ana told me no weddings at all on Sundays. This possible "new change" is making me mad as Sunday would have worked out better for us. Grrr....

 

Christa, I am using Beach Bum Vacation as my TA. I have liked them so far, but we don't have anyone booked yet (only RSVPs on our website). I think I have sent you my TAs information before, did you ever contact her? Who are you using?

I did get the information that you sent me. I haven't contacted her yet. With my surgery and healing I haven't had much energy for anything. How have the prices been for you thru them?

We're flying down on Wednesday and staying the week.  We are having the ceremony on the beach, cocktail at the Blue Bar and still undecided about the reception.  I planned everything so far through destinationweddings.com.  I haven't really had any contact with Ana Maria yet other than sending the confirmation, deposit, etc. 

 

What about you?

They have been really good compared to some of the prices I have heard about here. I did contact another TA too but their prices were higher plus not as flexible when it came to the group bookings etc. We are not doing a room block, since I did not want to be responsible for everyone's deposit and deal with people not booking on time, canceling and such. BBV don't charge any fees either.

Ok so I don't know if you guys are going to use small ziploc baggies for your OOT bags or anything but I found a great deal at www.papermart.com. They are under zipper bags. You can get a case of 100 for like $4. Check it out. They have some cool stuff on there.

We are probably going to fly down on either Wed. or Thurs and stay the week as well. I'm having beach ceremony and blue bar cocktail hour too! I've had some emailings with Ana just regarding availability but i haven't started any of the planning yet. I just got an email from her this AM that I am confirmed for Sunday ceremony!! Phew, what a relief! Let the planning begin!!!  PS- where in NJ do you live, I'm in NYC
