The great thing about using an agent, (one of them) is that we can present you with options! If you know you will have at least 10 rooms, and it works best for you to hold a block of rooms using a group rate so you know you have the rooms there for sure for your guests we can go that way, but if you and your guests would like to book individually we can also do those price matches, book with Apple for you or whatever makes it work best for you! I would say that the majority of couples I work with do prefer to hold a block of rooms for their guests using a group contract. It locks the price in and makes sure that the rooms will be there when the guests begin to call. It also provides the best amenities for the bride and groom in terms of upgrades and free rooms and such, but we can also book at the lowest rate available for your guests at the time they are ready to reserve their room, and if it means doing a price match to one of the online search engines, we can do that with no problem!

By still directing the guests to book through your agent, we can keep track for you of who has booked, and alert the resort of all the names of the guests and ask that they be roomed in the same general area even if we are doing the bookings as individual ones.

We always try to find what works best for the couple and go from there!

So pretty....looks like you had tons of fun! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your review. I do have a couple questions, if you don't mind....

1.  Chair bows - did you bring your own? If so, do they take them from the ceremony to the reception, or did you buy enough to cover both?

2.  Reception dinner....are the plates at each place setting or not? I'm trying to figure out my place setting decor.

Thanks!

Hello ladies!

Has anyone or is anyone planning to have their reception at Castaways?  We are getting married Dec 10, 2011. Our group outgrew the Bamboo Room which is what I was planning everything around.

I want rectangle tables but have not seen any photos of someone who has used that set up in Castaways.

I am looking for decoration ideas and layout (tables, dancefloor) for the room.

Photos would be a huge help too!

Thanks!

Hi Kuen,

Here are some unpublished photos from Castaways so you can see a little better what the room looks like.

Any other help anyone needs we are happy to try our best.
