i am planning on bringing two vases with me as my carry on as well. We are flying Delta and they DO allow it as long as it fits in our baggage. Can't be carried seperate.

Has anyone had or plan on having a beach wedding and/or reception?  I'm planning on doing everything on the beach in August, but I'd like some suggestions or information on how the weather is on the beach.

we are flying United Airlines and when my fiancee called to ask if we could bring it as a carry-on they said that they did not know and to contact the TSA to make sure.  I guess I will have him call to make sure before we leave.

I am doing a beach ceremony in May.  We are doing the reception inside though.  I am surprised I havent heard more brides doing weddings on the beach...but I can't wait.  It'll probably be hot in both May and August but I'm sure there will be a breeze from the water.

 Yeah, I haven't read or seen much of people doing their weddings on the beach.  It made me a bit nervous, as if I was making a wrong choice or something.  I plan on also having the dinner on the beach with the white sofa lounge chair set-up for the reception on the beach surrounding the dance floor.  I just hope it will be fine and it will cool down a bit after the sunset and not be too windy.

Hey BEACH BRIDES!

We are planning on having our ceremony on the beach (after all the traveling we most definetly will be getting married in the sand!!!!). Our reception and cocktail hour are going to be inside though. several of our guests are older and it made us a little nervous with having them walking on the uneven sand.

my wedding is Feb 11, 2011  we are having our ceremony on the beach but I too was worried about eating on the sand with the wind and all....so we will be eating on the terrace!! cant wait!!!! we leave 18 days OMG
