We're getting married in November at the St. Lucia Regency. We're still debating on whether to add the reception option, or just have a group dinner. We don't know our final guest count yet (somewhere between 10-30), so I'm interested to see what everyone who has already married at the resorts advice is!

The staff did such an amazing job and I dare say that the food was even better than what you would get in the restaurant. The only thing that we added was the lantern decor from the Flutter of Romance package and we're so glad we did! It was beautiful.

Your pics are beautiful! I want my wedding and reception set up exactly like yours. You said that the only thing you added was the lantern decor from Flutter of Romance. Did you bring your own table decorations or were those Sandals things? Thanks so much for sharing!

To Jamaican_smile; beautiful pictures

I have a questions, when you guys do the reception (book it), and get a DJ, how does this go? Will the DJ kind of say; First dance etc, etc.  Or do you kind of need to lead the way?  Although, we are having a DW, I still want to keep a bit of the tradition; first dance, parents dance, the buquet throw etc.

When you rent the restuarant for a private reception, and you get a dj, do you have the space in the restaurant to dance it up?

We will be def. getting the package, as we are expecting about 20-25 people. Dinner, some dancing, and then we can even hang out at the bar and party it up more :-) Then again - we will have the remainder of the trip to party it up :-)

Thank you in advance!

Hello fellow B2B,

Hope someone can help me out. I was under the assumption that if we booked 10 rooms or more, a $15.00 discount would be given per person for our reception. I was just informed today for the WC that we can only receive if we do $75(3hr reception). We were going to do that at first but decide to do the $50pp( 2hr reception) Any insight or extr info on this issue.

Thanks Ladies.

Ms.Tiffany

I love your pictures...everything looked beautiful!! I didn't know you could add just a part of one of the themes...like how you added the lanterns without doing the entire theme. That's good to know!! Can I ask how much they charged to add the lanterns? And did you bring your own favors and table decorations? It looks like the flowers (orchids) were from the BB package but wasn't sure about the rest of the decorations.

That's what I thought too...the $15/pp cocktail hour is free or you can take $15/pp off the cost of whatever option you choose.  I won't have 10 rooms booked so I don't know for sure but that's the way I read it.  Maybe you can ask again or even ask to speak to a supervisor if your WC seems unsure.
