How tall is your bouquet???

Ladies, I went DIY with my bouquet and I'm ready to trim the stems. But, I'm not sure how much to trim off!!

 

How tall was/is your bouquet

I helped a friend with DIY bouquets about a year ago. We left about a foot of stems. It wasn't a massive amount to cover with ribbon, but it gave her enough hold on them that she never felt like she didn't have enough 'hand space'. I'm not sure if this will work for your flowers, but just my two cents!
