Where are you registered and what has your experience been like?

Jason and I are trying to decide where to register (our engagement party is coming up and so the pressure is on!). Our first choices are Crate and Barrel and Macy's, however, we just heard that Target has a great registry (offering many of the same products as Crate and Barrel at a fraction of the price). Where are you registered and/or who do you recommend?

Target is completely awesome!! We registered there and Macy's. Everyone went to Target.

 

They have a really easy system with the gun/scanner. Macy's gun/scanner sucked!! It was so slow and missed half of the things I shot. I told the lady that Target's guns were so much better, and she agreed. She said everyone says that. So my suggestion would be to do most of your Macy's items on-line.

we registered at Macy's and Crate & Barrel - you could do all 3! we struggled to find enough stuff at both, but if you're registering for all the traditional stuff, you should be able to pull off 3

We are registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and Target...

We've registered at Neiman's, Williams-Sonoma and Dillards (for sterling only), and we'll probably add a Target or Lowe's for Ryan for fun.

 

I've had great experience at all of them so far!

I've heard Bed Bath & Beyond is great. They will give you cash back on returns with no receipt needed.

 

I'm thinking of doing BB&B and Target. If BB&B doesn't have the plates I want, I'll also set one up with Dillard's online. When I am buying for someone, I always go to target.

We registered at Bed Bath & Beyond. Most of our guests gave us money (that is what indians traditionally give for weddings) but we also got a lot of stuff from BB&B. The good thing is that if you register for something there and decide that you no longer like it (which sometimes happen - especially if you pick out stuff online) you can return it for cash instead of store credit. Which is good because inevitably you will also be given gift cards for that store and you may not want to buy THAT much more stuff there...

We registered at Macy's and Williams Sonoma. I like both and you can add and delete on linel. They help you track thank yous as well.
