Private Thread Bug?

I'm not sure if you mods are already aware of this, but I didn't see a thread so just thought I'd mention it.

 

Starting yesterday afternoon the forum started acting weird for me. The first time I signed in it brought me to the thank you for signing in screen but then didn't sign me in. When I finally got through it wouldn't let me see certain threads in the Chit Chat Corner. Then certain private threads such as the Shout Box, it wouldn't let me open certain pages, it would sign me back out. I'm having the same issue this morning. It signs me out when I try opening the Chit Chat Corner. When I try to sign back in it doesn't do anything, just brings me back to the sign in page. But then it lets me go back and open the public threads signed in.

 

Is this something going on with the forum or is it an issue with my computer?

Hmmm, interesting issues. I don't know of anyting going on with the forum, is there a way you can check it from another computer? I'm going to make sure that Tammy host sees this thread, jic it is something going on with the entire forum though...

Well ya know I did sign on briefly last night on my home computer and it seemed to be working ok at that time. So maybe it is just something going on with my work laptop? I don't think anything changed though so no idea what's going on.

haha I know, right?! I about panicked when I couldn't get the Shout Box to open. Imagine having to actually work today, gasp!

Mystery solved! Somehow a setting got turned off on my work laptop. So once I turned that back on it's working fine now.

 

This thread can be deleted, just a user error. Sorry!

Oh good, I'm glad you got it figured out! Now you can get back to "work" (of course with "work" being "BDW'ing"!)
