Your ultimate wedding photography package?

If money was no object, I would pay for some of our close family and friends that cannot afford to attend but very dear to our hearts.

There plenty other things I would do if money were no object....the list could go on but the most important is sharing the experience with loved ones.

If money was no object for photography, then I would want coverage for every day that we are at the resort - coverage of everything! It would be like one extended engagement session, friends & family shoot, photojournalism, day after shoot, etc. Just non-stop photos. But then again, to make that even more worth it you would need an awesome location, a stylist and a hair/makeup artist wink.gif

Magalie beat me to it. I would also want more coverage. We didn't pay for the photog to stay all night and we don't have very many pics of us jumping in the pool at the end of the night.

The other thing I like are touched up pics. Like the ones where the photog plays with the colors, makes the flowers stand out, or just touches up the pictures.

The number one thing on our list was the rights to use our pictures how we wanted.

And yeah having someone follow me around to make sure my makeup and hair looked good in all of the pics would rock wink.gif

Getting on the plane and arriving at the resort and greeting guests. Bride and groom before the ceremony, ceremony, photo shoot after at several locations (my resort has a light house, the gazebo, the ocean, and the rocks), first dance/cake cut, and at least some dancing at the reception. The day after would be a cenote TTD with above and underwater photography, then back to the resort for a beach TTD, then at the end of the day when the sun is setting doing honeymoon stuff (sipping drinks together, or laying in a hammock). CD of digital images plus the edited images (color enhance, b&w, mixed color and B&W, sepia, softening, some airbrushing of closeups), full rights, and album with different sized photos. Also the engagement session would be nice. Am I do greedy, or just detailed?!?! A second photographer would be nice for the ceremony too. Does video count too? From getting ready, to at least our first dance at sunset, I would like video. Plus a highlights video to show friends.

Oh, and I forgot, I want to do some shots of the photographer, or of us and the photographer being goofy. They are a bit part of the day?

Shots of our guests arriving at the hotel and meeting up with us. We have family and friends that we see only once a year or less that are coming to our wedding.

Our cocktail hour with the Mexican trio, our excursion to Coba, me getting ready, FI getting ready, candid shots of our guests and the kids, awesome sunset pics, all of us getting down at the reception...

A TTD session at the beach or cenote

The rights to all of the pics

an amazing photobook of the weekend

cd with all kinds of enhancements/effects to our pics...

sadly, all we have is 90 mins with our photog and 50 photos. 50 photos of our whole night?!!!

I agree... total coverage from before the time that we left until we returned. Such as me running around my house looking for the one bra that I just cannot find to pack! HAHA. Those are the moments we never remember, but make the entire trip come together perfectly. Multiple photographers would be AMAZING so that all the guests arrivals and trips can be perfectly documented for them as well.

I would also love to have unlimited retouches and effects on the photographs, all with the copyrights released to me. I love the photoshopping that I've seen on a lot of photographs. The sepia tones, b&w's, and the enhancement of colors can make for BEAUTIFUL photography.

As well, I'd love professional photo books for my parents and grandparents, and FI's parents and grandparents. This was just as special a day for them as it was for us! Photo books individualized for each guest (they're arrival, photos of the wedding from angles they couldn't see from their seats, their rooms, parties, etc) would be the perfect wedding gift from us to them, as well.

I know I'm being picky and greedy here, but I would love a photographer with the capability to shoot underwater. FI and I will most likely go snorkeling and scuba diving on our trip, and documenting that with pictures seems like it would be AMAZING!

I'm sure I'll come up with more ideas as time goes on!

I've got pretty close to what I'd want for coverage in a perfect world. We have all day wedding coverage (which is awesome!) plus a TTD. I guess if I were to splurge another day of coverage would be cool- maybe a group excursion we're taking before the wedding and the rehersal dinner? I wouldn't want a photographer to follow me around much more than that, though, I wouldn't be able to relax.

ETA- oh, I thought of something! Maybe a couple of photographers for these key days, so that nothing gets missed? That would be cool!
