Any news on your dress nmurch? Do we get to see pictures?

I am almost done my DIY luggage tags. Can't wait to have them done and I will post pictures. Also have decided to do a boudoir session as a gift for FI. Booked for November 12, so hopefully it will really encourage me to work out more LOL! We will be sitting down with our TA on Thursday to get the menu and details started, she is kind enough to be the direct link to the WC (plus she seems to get responses back much quicker than I was).

 

How is the planning going for everyone else?

I´m getting there slowly i think! One dress is sorted, the other needs taking in, my kids and FI´s clothes are sorted, FI just needs a tie. Flowers and chair sashes have been delivered to UK ready for me to pick up next week (YAY!)

just need :- rings for me and FI, shoes for me, jewellery for me and my daughter, music to sort out, ceremony wording to sort....

oh, quite a lot still to do then!

I love these shoes...so cute!!! I haven't been on here for a while and it hit me today...96 days!!! Last week I ordered my placecard holders & wedding favours (not doing OOT bags). I'm also helping my sister plan my shower. Otherwise there's not much left to do. I keep feeling like I'm forgetting to do something but everytime I go over my list, everything's up to date. I really hope I'm not missing something! My guests are getting really excited too, everyone's looking forward to a week away!

Can I ask what you're doing for favours?  We're also opting not to do OOT bags, but I'm kind of strapped for favour ideas!

We're doing flip flop luggage tags, it was the only 'beachy' favour I found that I liked and that was within our budget. Here's the link:

We're sending out bubbakegs before we leave, that way everyone will get something they'll actually use, possibly buy something extra when we get there if we have the time/cash!

80 days till we get married legally in MD and then on the 12th were off to Cancun for our symbolic ceremony for the 15th.  I have nothing done!  I've been busy with so many other things, that my wedding planning has slid.  The economy has been rough on our family and friends and it appears we will only have 4 guests attending our wedding, so I'm not going to do anything spectacular for the ceremony, we have to save that for the AHR.

Hello lovies! Haven't been on here in a while...well, actually I have, but I've been more of a lurker than a poster.

 

I can't believe we're so close to January! I leave in exactly 3 months from tomorrow, and I totally do NOT feel prepared. I still have to make up a music playlist for the reception, get FI a wedding ring, make a decision about OOT bags or not (and if I decide yes, I need to actually get stuff!), buy clothes for the trip, PAY for the trip, get my wedding dress altered...aack! I'm stressed.

 

FI and I got legally married last Friday. We had a friend of his sign the wedding license...no words spoken, it was super low-key, to make the ceremony in Mexico that much more special. I don't feel married AT ALL and I won't until January 31st

 

How is everyone else doing? Anybody as far behind as me?

I am sooo behind as well!

FI needs his tie but now I am thinking I don't want him to wear his suit and tie...I want to change his outfit. I guess that's not fair eh. lol

 

Our father's need their outfits as well. Hmm.

Ordered luggage tags from a printer here with our logo on TYVEK. Hopefully those come in soon - I am planning to mail them out before the trip.

 

Shoes have been delivered TODAY!!

Now I can get my dress altered. So excited. I also bought a thick bangel from Swarovski to wear...just need to find some earrings. Don't think I want to wear a necklance. Hmm...I am totally thinking out loud. Thank you for reading!

 

Anyone joined theknot.com? Looks like they have lots of pictures you can see of different colored weddings in so many different places...verrrry kool!
