Anyone been to: Mazatlan Mexico?

Has anyone been to Mazatlan Mexico? Mazatlan is on the Pacific coast north of Puerto Vallarta and across from Cabo San Lucas on the main land of Mexico. If you have any info you can share with me?

No but I don't know why we never go because from L.A. it is super cheap.

 

I hear the beaches aren't the best for swimming, i.e. rough surf, but it still looks beautiful. BDW field trip? I'm down.

i was there on a family vacation when i was a kid - i loooong time ago. that's when my love affair with guacomole began - but that's all i remember!

I went years ago as a kid. We stayed at Club Maeva which is like a Club Med. The rooms are tiny two story "villas"

I've driven through/around it! I've really only spent time in PV and Tepic - which is more inland. Sorry...I think I remember it being very pretty though.

Hmm you girls aren't helping.. lol.. We were "Thinking" about going there for Christmas but I can't seem to find enough information about it.
