Alternative to the traditional BM bouquets

The additonal flowers outside of what is included in the package will cost over $130 each I have 3 BMs 1 flower girl and that will just end up too expensive. What are good alternatives? And FI is totally against using fake flowers.

When we did our TTD session, DH snagged some white hibiscus from the resort grounds to put in my hair. May-be your resort's gardens could accomodate a few fresh flowers for your BMs and FG to carry?

I've seen bridesmaids carry parasols instead of flowers.

I am having my bridesmaids carry single stemmed flowers.. I have always really liked the simple look of it. I think they are going to be $15 each (doing calla lilies). I'm not sure but they might kind of make a little bouquet out of the one flower -- ribbon or something. Either way I will be happy and it didn't cost a lot..

I like the carrying one single flower. Also maybe holding an open wood fan or parasols.

I like the single flower idea for the BM's. Also i saw on Martha Sterwart's page where she created a bouquet out of seashells....was a cool idea!

Kissing balls are typically for flower girls....but I think they are beautiful and can be carried by all ladies. Fakes ones are fairly inexpensive too! Save-On-Crafts.com has some great ideas as well.

I think fans are pretty and not very often used. Not to mention how hot it gets, so they are practical too!
