Mahi Mahi @ Dreams?

Hey y'all,

 

Did anyone try the mahi mahi with hollandaise and spinach at Dreams? For our wedding menu, we're having surf & turf and mahi-mahi, but I'm not sure if that preparation sounds odd or not. Thoughts?

I have not tried that specific combo, but I can say for sure the mahi mahi is amazing! very fresh and one of the best things there.

 

I had 2 preperations at the restaruants that I loved:

 

1) at Oceanna- with porchinni mushrooms (to die for)

2) at Portofino- it was a different combo and I cant rember it now but a lot of guests raved about it.

I had the mahi mahi at portofino as well and loved it!! its so fresh and amazing! actually I found all the local fish I had there was awesome!

Hey you guys, do you know if the one served at Portofino had a sauce made of tomatoes, herbs, and spinach sauce?

mahi mahi at Oceanna with porchini mushrooms

mahi mahi at protofino with Ginger

mahi mahi with tomatoes and spinach

Hmm, Mariana only mentioned the one with tomatoes and spinach. For our wedding choice, do you all agree that the one with porcini mushrooms should be my first choice? I do love mushrooms, but worry that others might not *love* them like I do? Thoughts?

I'm not sure if they serve it in Cabo, but I had one at Huatulco Dreams with Coconut...it was delicious. I'm sure you're safe with Mahi Mahi, they definately know how to cook it.
