Getting screwed in Mexico - Attorney General? Lawyer?

Recommended Posts

hmmmm, I thought I had an answer, but I guess it doesn't apply here. See, there is 'Federal Regulation C," a credit law that allows you to bring up disputes with your bank and credit card company. After you have tried reasoning with the merchant (I.E. hote), you send a written complaint with any documentation you have to your credit company and they investigate. When figure out the problem, they reverse the charges. But I just read the limitations, which are that you have to purchase in your home state or within 100 miles away. The reason I'm still posting is because technically, you probably made your transactions while you were here right? Maybe there is a loop hole. I hope things work out for you. Obviously this only helps you get some money back, and I don't know of any advice to help with the rest, unless you decide to tell us more.

I agree - This forum is very helpful, and we are all here for eachother, but you need to provide further information so that knowledgable people can help you. If you can't do that, then it's not nice to work up a bunch of people who are already stressing.

Can you please describe what has happened so we may be able to give you the best advice that we can? Otherwise, we're all confused.grouphug.gif
