My name is Tara King

 

My wedding date is set for November 26th, 2010

 

And the wedding is to be at Dreams Punta Cana!

 

 

And we're super excited!

 

This forum is sooooo helpful already! It's so easy to get irritated and worried when doing this destination thing! I feel like no one has answers and you just sit and stare at your email waiting for your wedding coordinator to respond! Reading about all of these other brides going through the exact same things is so calming! Thank you for having this forum for us to vent and chat and share!

Welcome to the forum! You'll find lots of answers to your questions, while you sit and wait for the WC to get back to you! Unfortunately, they are all that way, so try not to let it get you frustrated. I read a post recently that made perfect sense regarding this issue (sorry, I wish I could remember who the poster was!): the WCs aren't sitting in front of a computer all day long just waiting for email from their brides. They're meeting with couples every day, planning and executing one, and often times, 2 or 3, weddings per day! It's no wonder they're slow at responding. Plus, they're on island time! Just keep following up every few days and eventually you will get an answer. Good luck with the planning!

Welcome to the forum. You'll find sooooo many ideas, tips, comments etc!

 

As a fellow DPC bride, I know how frustrating it can be to get in touch with your WC but Lucy is right, they are VERY busy all the time.

 

Come find us in the DPC Bride thread. Their are future and past brides there that can give you detailed information about the resort and it's options.
