Well, I'm not sure if you're having a rehearsal dinner or cocktail hour, but perhaps you can incorporate island music then. Presumably, your guests will want to dance to music they already know, so I'd save the well known music for your reception

Linda - that sounds great. I am just praying that we get a DJ who knows how to do this. Did you pick out all of your music ahead of time or did you just tell the DJ what type of music you wanted? My fiance is a huge 80s fan and I'm so not LOL. We will have to throw in some for him since he loves it Thanks for the help. I'll definitely check out that band!
