i was reading on a posting that the cabo azul resort is having construction done on some parts of the hotel (these posts were from early 09) and some others mentioned that it was going to be turned into a timeshare only property as soon as construction is to be completed. CAn anyone provide more updated info pls? im planning on a april 2011 or october 2011 wedding and would hate for this to happen before my big day!! :-0

Cabo Azul's construction has been at a stand still for some time now, the timeshare portion is complete, it is just the hotel/lobby that have not been completed. You and your guests would stay in the timeshare rooms, they have ocean and pool views- the rooms are beyond fabulous! When you are within the resort you really would not know it is under construction, they have done a great job of making it appear finished.
