Wind at Your Beach Wedding Reception

For all members who have had outdoor wedding receptions on or near the beach:

 

1. How windy did it get throughout the cocktail hour/reception? Was it ever disruptive?

2. Were your guests always comfortable?

3. Would you still choose to have an outdoor reception if you could do it over?

 

I am having second thoughts over having my wedding outdoors. Based on the last 2 times I went to Cancun, it was very windy in the evenings and not the ideal environment I would envision for a reception. My FI is pushing the idea but I dont want to risk having my guests be uncomfortable. Plus I HATE being cold!!!! Your feedback is appreciated (vendors feel free to chime in too)!
