Dying a white veil to ivory with tea...

ok so I have this GORGEOUS cathedral veil with rhinestones in it, but one issue, IT IS WHITE!!

 

I originally was going to borrow a white gown that my cousin wore, but instead found a to die for ivory dress and bought it. Now I have a brand new white veil and an ivory dress.

 

I am trying to sell the veil on here and Craigslist (hint hint) but if it does not sell, I have heard of people using tea bags to dye a veil to ivory. Has anyone out there done this? If so, do tell and please post pics!

 

I am not opposed to purchasing a new ivory veil, but I am trying to save where I can too!

I wouldn't take a chance on ruining the veil unless you know you can do it perfectly.

That is what I was leaning toward, and I tend not to be super crafty so hopefully it will sell. Thanks!
