Brandy- I canno believe it's your last day on here with us! I hope you have the most amazing trip and cannot wait to see pictures when you get back! Lua & tris- your parties sound great! Glad you both had a good time Meggers- see the pic totally made my day! And I'm sorry about everyones sister drama :/ hope it all gets better soon! I only have 2 more days of work after today and this week has been going by soooo slow so far! And I'm so irritable and crabby I want to rip everyones heads off! Got my dress from the seamstress last night- still didn't get the results I was hoping for but I guess my expectations are just unrealistic so im just going to leave it as is now . And now I'm having second thoughts about my dress I should have just bOught a mermaid dress to begin with rather than trying to have mine altered to be one . We leave a week from today and I am so ready! Moms going to come over Friday to help me pack then Saturday I'm getting a mani/pedi then it's my bachelorette party that night! Woo hoo! A much needed girls night out!

OHH!! I forgot to say. Exactly ONE MONTH until my wedding day! It's crazy how time has been flying lately!

Meggers - That is completely crazy! The only positive thing is it's on the inside so you can't see it unless she pulls her lip down?

 

Teira - I think you looked gorgeous in your dress and everyone will think so when they see you. Plus, I think it's very rare to be completely 100% happy about our dresses. At least we're 100% happy with our amazing FIs!

Good call Mocha! No one will be looking that closely at our dresses, they'll be too busy looking at us and we will be focused on our amazing men! As for the tattoo she did it that way so she could whip it out whenever she feels like she needs more attention. At least if it was already out there it would just be another tattoo and no one would care much. You dont expect this so it's more shocking when she shows it. whatever she can tattoo her forehead if she wants. It's still mine and FI's week, surrounded by our friends and it will still be all about us, no matter what stunts she tries to pull!

Whew!  Just caught up on 3 days of posts. 

 

My photographer has sent me several of my BD pics as teasers.  I can't believe the magic she worked!!  I love them and know FI will too;)  The only bummer is that I most likely won't be able to give the book to him before Maui, but it will certainly be ready by our AHR 2 weeks after Maui.

 

Back from Vegas in one piece...but barely.  We had such a great time at my bachelorette bash.  Danced our faces off, shopped, ate fabulous food, consumed some great drinks, had several A-list celeb sightings, laughed until we cried, attended a great private party thrown by some NFL players (that's football for you Canada girls), it was a blast, but exhausting....all the fun aspects of a successful girls trip.  One of my girlfriends told a guys that we were sister-wives and I was the newest wife.  Hilarious!  Here we are, night 2

 

 

Kiwi, I hope you are feeling better and I'm bummed for you about the cancellations:(

 

Kathyw, I'm taking my dress in a felt-feeling garment bag the bridal shop gave me.  It looks a bit flimsy, but they claim it hold the shape the best and doesn't promote wrinkles.  We'll see.

 

Laura, FUN surprise!!  Dave and Busters would be a great place for a fun couple's shower!  Very thoughtful.  Your planning thread was awesome too!  Nice work.

 

Brandy, 2 DAYS!!!!  Wow.  I know you'll have a fabulous time.  Can't wait to see pics.

Tris, Fmichelle, Mocha, and Meggers-  Sorry about the sister drama.  Ugh.  I haven't called mine back yet either.  Bleh.  Or shall I say ARGH (I've been waiting to use this one!  LOL)

 

Teira, Sorry you're 2nd guessing your dress now.  Try not to over-think it:)  It'll look great and you'll be gorgeous.  My dress you asked about is an Alice & Trixie that I found at a little boutique here in town.

Sorry to hear about you ladies and your sister drama....  I've been one of the lucky ones in this DW wedding decision for sure - everyone in both our families are super pumped about the trip and completely supportive of our decision - and everyone is dying to get to Jamaica!! 

 

My sister is getting married 3 months after me, and we've always had a bit of a rocky relationship - I totally thought she'd make things about her, but she's actually been pretty great...  I can totally see bridezilla coming out in July though!!!

 

Glad to hear you ladies had great parties this weekend!  My girls threw me a surprise 80s theme bachelorette on Saturday, and I'm still hung over...  They fed me way too many shots, and I was trying to be a good sport about it all, but it resulted in me not making it to the bar...  Oh well, the first few hours were a blast!!
