Can we all vent about sisters? I haven't spoken to mine since my shower. I don't even know if she got her dress. I sent her a bbm on Friday asking if she got it, but she hasn't even read it. She was supposed to be one of our witnesses, but I would rather have our WC sign.

Oh yeah... and how the hell do you tattoo the inside of your lip? I can see piercing, but how does a tattoo heal and who would ever see it?

I'll jump on the venting about sisters bandwagon.  I still haven't spoken to mine since she sent me that lovely email about "feeling so badly" about not being able to attend my wedding.  When I told my parents about it they were very nonchalant saying "oh yeah, we knew about that."  Anyway, I won't be calling her first, she hurt me, very badly.

 

Brandy!  2 Days?!  Awesome! Make sure to get your rest.  I hope you're over whatever cold thing you had going on.

 

Victoria, BRONCHITIS?! Yuck!  I started feeling sick myself after my BD shoot on Friday, maybe it was standing around half naked for a few hours that did it I hope you feel better soon! I know what a crappy thing it is to fly sick.  Hopefully the doc has got you on meds, stat. And sorry to hear about your flower girl and all the last minute cancellations.  I'm in the same boat.  But just remember, once you get to paradise, you won't even think about who isn't there and you'll just be concentrating on who is there (and the lucky guy who you get to marry of course)

 

Lua, I LOVE Dave & Busters! What an awesome surprise! It sounds like your family and friends know you and FI very well.  Glad you had an awesome time.

 

Meggers, good luck at your second fitting, looking forward to seeing pics.

 

Speaking of pics, the BD shoot was such a blast! I got my hair trial done in the am, went to the MAC counter right afterwards, then headed home to pick up everything before heading out to the hotel my photographer recommended I book (and I'm so glad we did, made it so much better than her apartment would have been). Unfortunately, when I got home, FI was just leaving and I had to duck so he didn't see me, he was very confused to see a car "driving itself."  Anyway, I'm kind of glad I was one of the last of the April ladies to go so I could "steal" some photo ideas. I hope to have some samples soon!!  I kept looking at the camera display and saying "wow, that's me??"

What the hell!  My FI said he's seen that before.  I feel for you all dealing with sibling issues.  I don't have a sister so no drama there.  Hang in there Meggers!

I'm so sorry to hear about all the sister drama! That sucks....

 

I'm sick too! woke up with a sore throat yesterday and by early evening my throat was on fire. I leave in 17 days - MUST.GET.BETTER!!!!

 

My two closest friends threw me a shower on saturday which was so fun! i didn't even let my MIL totally inappropriate comment of " I hope they appreciate all we're doing for them. I have to put off my bathroom reno to pay to get to their wedding" get to me. She blurted out the MINUTE she walked in the door not knowing i was there yet.

 

Mocha...the pirate tattoo = huge regret for the rest of your life. give her 6 months and she'll be thinking "what the eff was i thinking?"

I know right??? Like how ridiculous is she?? She had a constant need for attention even if it's negative so she is always trying for the shock value. So this time I didn't give her the satisfaction and ignored her calls for a week. When she brought it up over text I just said "am I supposed to be shocked? Cause your shenanigans are no longer entertaining".

 

Lesee it was me not Mocha unfortunately but you're right, she'll regret it. Especially since I eventually plan to make her feel guilty by reminding her of the people who have been recently killed by Somali pirates. They are real and they hurt families. I figure it will speed up that regret process and teach her a lesson.
