Okay, so I'm going to make a comment that may make me sound self-centered, or greedy, or....something...  But do you ever wish you could tell someone to get you a specific gift (other than registering for things you want)??  I just found the coolest gift idea on etsy (of course)...

So I just posted this on the May thread but wanted to share with you girls as well because I was so excited, and my FI actually got excited when he saw everything and started coming up with new ideas...I was somewhat in shock LOL

Sooo obssessed with VistaPrint.  Everything for my first order turned out great.  I think I spent aroudn $36 and got freebies and free shipping.  They "said" 21 days but my order came in less than 2 weeks!  I LOVE it and can't wait to place another order!  I get free postcards next so suggestions on what to make with them since you get so many.  Not shown below, but I also ordered the free rubber self inking stamp with our names and our address on it.

 

Used the rack cards to make my door hangers.  So happy with how they turned out!

Oversized postcards which I used as for the Welcome letters.  Turned out awesome, look professional, and I LOVE them!

I got "save the date" cards with envelopes for free so I made stationary with my new name on them for some little thank you notes I can write.  I got the pen for free and a steal of a deal on the business cards which I am come to use as thank you tags on OOT bags, luggage tags, key/tip holder cards, and maybe some other things!

I love these frames!!  I like how they can be either contemporary or traditional based upon the letter style and color.  I have a black and white one in my office that says "run".  Isn't Etsy the best?!?

Erin, that could be a good anniversary gift too? Or maybe you could show it to a really close friend and mention that you would really like it, but can't register for it since it's on Etsy?

Wow you girls have been busy!!! Tenny those pics are awesome!! Lua I'm sorry about your bonus and I hear ya. I went through so much with my company this year including doing the work of three people for 5 months while they found more candidates. I thought a big Christmas bonus was coming my way but instead I got a fancy bottle of wine and a Keg gift card. That's nice and all but what I needed was some $$$!!! Oh and I'm a project manager at a marketing firm. Lisa it's great that they pay for your gas and tolls!! Grey's I agree... Etsy is definitely the best!!! Although it did increase my wedding budget by quite a bit!! Whats everyone's weekend to dos? I need to place my final order with vista print and do my oriental trading order this weekend. Today I made my appointments for cutting and coloring my hair extensions and set up the consultation for my zoom whitening. I've set up a personal google calendar to keep track of all my appointments and set up a budget spreadsheet for personal expenses like cosmetics, clothes, shoes etc that I'll need for the trip. It was a pretty scary total!!!

I mentioned it to my mom and to one of my close friends.  I told my mom that if I didn't get it, I'd probably end up buying it, so, we'll see!
