Okay two questions....

 

How do I make a planning thread?

 

Is anyone else doing gift registries?  I just figured because people who are coming have already spent the money to come so they probably wouldn't be getting gifts.  But a GF of mine who can't make it just asked me what we want for our wedding gift.....

I also figured people who aren't coming wouldn't bother getting us anything if they weren't spending the day with us....hmmmmm  What are you guys doing?

I am not that great at navigationg around this website.  I can't figure things out....although i am very good at finding this thread!!!!! THANK GOD!!!!  I would be lost without you guys....of course I would have probably saved some money!! hahahahaha  So many good ideas, so little credit card room!!!

Bailey,  We registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond because I know my bridal party is having a bridal shower for me, and a lot of people are not going to our DW.  I did put in our pre-travel brochure that one thing people should NOT pack for the DW was a gift, because they were coming.  I wanted to make sure that people didn't feel like they needed to bring a gift after spending the money to travel with us.

Ooooo that makes sense!!  Yah I don't want to have to bring gifts back either!!  lol not that I wouldn't appreciate it but I hope noone brings anything based on the fact it's a waste to bring it to Mexico so that it can come back! lol

Lisa you're from Sudbury???? ME TOO!!! I was born there but moved to Vancouver when I was 14. I'm sure we must know some of the same people!!

I also have a 4day weekend, FI and I are heading up to my home town Sudbury and we have an appointment with the caterer, dj and cupcake lady for our AHR. Also I sold all my chair covers and two fitted rectangular table cloths to a Sept bride up there so I will be getting the deposit cheque this weekend from her sister.

 

I plan on cutting the rest of the placecards and table numbers on my dads precision cutter in the office and then assembling them when I get back Monday hopefully. Found a job for FI to do, put together the organza bags with rose petals in them and figure out the layout in my dads backyard for the AHR. Oh I am also picking up some wine labels while in Sudbury. So far that is it for this weekend.

 

Have an amazing weekend ladies. OMG I am already stressed out at the 1000 post I will come back to on Monday lol
