We were going to do wine bottle stoppers because our fam's are such big winos. But we'll see... Since we started house shopping and have been told by our broker "PENNY PINCH!", the idea of spending around $100 on wine stoppers that everyone has a few of already seems, well, like a bad idea. Omg I've become cheap lately because of this house business! I guess that's a good thing though!! Haha. If we don't do stoppers we will do something. The OOT bag just didn't make sense for us. My family travels all the time so they know what they should all bring, and FI's mom is a pharmacist so she'll have the whole medicine cabinet with her... haha. So if we were to put together OOT bags for everyone I feel like they'd have everything already and it would be kind of a waste. We're doing little things though.. like I said the magazine (which is turning out really cute), and we're upgrading our parents & grandparents without letting them know.

(oh, and super awesome news, FI's parents are GIVING us our down payment as a wedding present. $15,000. love)

bryanandchar - We set up a registry at the bay and sears. I prefer the stuff at the bay, but in FI's home town they only have sears. Lots of people, myself included, don't like to give cash or have no idea what to give as a gift. It's also a great time to start collecting fine china or crystal. You probably won't spend the money on something nice for yourselves, with a registry you'll get something you really want. Of course, now that I've had my bridal shower I have to restock the Sears registry because most people bought off that. A great thing about The Bay registry, they give you a card that entitles you to an additional 10% off anything on your registry. So if there's a great sale on something, it's even a little better.

The place I am thinking I will go to actually does a test patch to make sure you won't break out, but that's a great idea!  Thanks for the recommendation!

We did a registry at Bed, Bath & Beyond.  I wasn't really sure at first, but my MOH told me that I needed to because they are doing a bridal shower for me, and most people are not going to the DW.  We didn't put a lot on the registry because we've lived together for 3 1/2 years and both had everything we really wanted.  But, we did put things on the list that we wanted to upgrade.

Thanks Mocha!  I'll look into that. The shout wipes were came in packets of 4 for a dollar. I'm just going to break them up so each person gets one wipe...I mean no one should be so messy they need 4 each! Our colours are teal and lime, but really we're doing varying shades of blues with the lime to mimic the natural colours of the beach.

Meggers - You should check b&bw soon. They have special "I Love" Mini Sanitzers right now and on sale 5 for $5. I'm not sure what the Cdn price is though. Was the pricing for the shout wipes decent? We need to start shopping for our OOT bags so I want to make up a list of where to buy. What are your colours?

We kept being asked too! We've lived together for 2 years already, so we really don't need any more stuff. So I just signed up online for a "wish registry" for our St Lucia honey moon. People can then purchase "upgrades" for our honey moon but the reality is it all just gets deposited as cash into our bank account!

We're doing an AHR, which was supposed to be in May or June, but my FI just got a job overseas where he'll be home for 30 days then away for 30 days on a rotation, so we don't know his exact schedule yet so we haven't even started planning the AHR yet. It's going to be like planning a whole wedding again!

Good to know! I've looked at the sizing chart on their site, and it says 4-6 is a small. I'm usually about a 4 but purchase mediums for most things at other stores. So I'm a little scared to see how it fits, though I do like the idea of wearing all smalls! :) Have you noticed how fast things add up on that site though! Three bikinis, two bras and two cover ups were already totalling $320, and that doesn't even include customs or shipping! Oy.

Has anyone ordered online? Can you return items that don't fit? Thanks:)

Mocha have you looked online to see if you can order another transfer? I ordered a bunch from a seller on Etsy. Each of my girlfriends are getting black bikinis and on the bum applying "Team Bride", then the bridesmaids, MOH and MOB will each have their respective titles on their bum, then I'm putting "Bride" with a ring on the bum of a white bikini. I sure hope those stones don't all fall off!!

Are the bags white? Maybe you can print your logo with a background color?

I'm so sad. I found an iron-on transfer that says "property of the groom" that I ironed onto a bikini bottom, but not all the stones stuck and I don't know how to fix it. Sadly there was only one of those iron-ons so I can't even buy another one. Do you think I can hot glue the others on?
