LOL, I know francine!!!! Well I ordered them through etsy do they work the same as ebay?  He better do something, either give me some money back or rush me some new ones, and I thought there were going to be a few extras in there since it took so long but no there were exactly 40, honestly I dont think he cares if he gets bad reviews.

Brandy - I can't believe after all that time they messed it up!!! Keeping them or not you deserve a full refund for this. It's unacceptable! The white on orange look awesome... will you have enough of those for your guests??

 

Greys (I think) - We asked for a video camera for Christmas and we're going to pass it around during the wedding. It seemed so expensive to hire a videographer for what we'd get for it! I mean, if I was going all out there's an INSANE videographer company that does amazing work (I forget the link, I'll post it when I get home so you can all cry).

 

Welcome May brides !! I used to be a May bride (maybe some of you remember me?), but got bumped to April with date changes. We like to talk on this thread, haha.

Brandy - That is horrible that they messed up! I really hope he replaces them for free.

 

Tenny - It is tough not to over spend on lingerie, maybe you can use your honeymoon lingerie? You can also wear some of his stuff?

I probably will have enough for guests I think I may be a few short, but my plan was the give the women pink koozies and the men the orange ones.

Brandy - I love that dress that you originally picked for your mom, that's too bad that she didn't like it.  NOW, about those koozies...OMG, I'm so mad FOR you! You need to contact him ASAP and you are in the US...why can't you tell him that you want new ones made because he didn't do it right the first time, and you want them before your wedding.  It's not like they have to go through customs or anything.  Absolutely unacceptable.  The orange and white ones like great, but you ordered two specific types, you didn't get them.  If nothing else, I would certainly try to see what can happen through etsy.

 

Kitty - LOVE that dress!!  It's going to look GREAT shortened!

Kitty-That dress ROCKS, I would love to have that dress, it looks so flattering.

Brandy-You have every right to be LIVID (that's my mad word lol) at this guy. What a joke. Blast him for sure and get your money back. Start a dispute if that is possible on etsy. The orange ones look great so the pink would have too for sure.

Erin-Bose is a great one and it works on batteries too and comes with a remote but is a little pricey.

 

OMG ladies my dress arrived today yikes!!!!!! I am going to go see it on Saturday but not get any fittings until March as I am still on my weight loss journey. So far down 15total and 5 since I started with the dietician/trainer. Wanted to lose 34 more but that is unrealistic at this point so another 20 would be great!

 

Ohh I also booked a slushy machine for my AHR, I am soooo excited about this, I will have 4 different flavors.

I also recommend the Bose docking station.  The sound output is amazing from such a small speaker.  The portable one is nice, but it's pricey

(just under $400),  I used one of these for a surprise 60th Birthday luau I threw for my mother last summer.  It was outside and the sound was great from it.

I've seen the Bose, but never used it or seen it being used.  My only concern with that is the price....  I know the quality would be worth it, it's just not something I had planned budgeting that much for...  With all the other things that need to be paid for, that's just a little much right now I think.

Brandy.....CRAZY!!!! sooo sorry to hear that! Maybe if you could get your money back and call Kustom Koozies they could rush your order.  I haven't received mine yet but I told them I was leaving earlier than I am so even if they were a little late it would still be ok.  I think they do rush orders but April will still give you quite a bit of time to get some new ones made up.

Lisa...I got my brochurese in BTW and THANK YOU...they look fabulous!!  And thanks for the tip in the email as well   I would post it but I took alot of your wording so it wouldn't really be too much of anything new to post, I changed (obviously) everything to do with the hotel, the front, and a few other things but it pretty much has the same style as yours.  You are very creative!  thanks again! 

Tenny...Yes I think La Vie en Rose is Canadian, but maybe you could order them.  I went and picked up the bags today, they are the perfect colour except for the fact that on one side it says in BIG letters La Vie en Rose and has a picture of a girl in a bathing suit, so I went to Michaels and picked up some Acrylic paint and I am going to sponge paint over the lettering and pic of the girl.  Hopefully they turn out alright.  I'll post pics when they're done.

 

And welcome noobies...I am kinda one too, except I creeped it forever before I finally posted anything but this is an amazing place to get great info and advice.

I think SPRING 2011 sounds great!!
