Okay, so I feel like the most accomplished girl alive (but I know I'm not!).  (Thanks to Francine) I was able to place my LAST, I promise!, Vista Print order!  I decided to do my English-Spanish translation, photo scavenger hunt, and restaurant options on the brochure, to save some work on my end!  I also started going through a list of songs (that I have compiled from the "Anyone have an entire play list" thread on BDW!  Yay!  Being home sick from work is a wonderful thing I tell you!

Hi everyone

 

I haven't used the site very much, so I guess I'm not very familiar with how to navigate around here yet. Sorry if these questions are already out here somwehere.

 

I'm wondering if anyone has used Renova Spa at Riu Palace Mexico?  I don't want to spend $100 and hate my hair.  I'm super nervous about it.

Also, does anyone have fun gift ideas for our guests?  We're trying to keep prices really low but I want to get everyone a little something that will fit into our suitcase without putting us over the weight limit. 

One last thing.....can someone explain to me what they did for their sand ceremony?  I'm looking for a nice poem for during the ceremony, but haven't come across many yet.

Kathy, what cruise line are you going on?

I have been wanting to go on the Hawaiian cruise so bad!

And I totally agree with you, I say it all the time, its the best way to travel and the best vacation!!!

You are most welcome, Erin. So glad o could help. I still don't know why they send me emails like twice a week! I totally know what you mean with ordering "your last!" vistaprint order. Brandy, I'd check if you can find any coupon codes for discount mugs. I think right now they're offering 5% off, which isn't enough, IMHO to order. If I get any emails with discounts, I'll post them on here. Congrats on you koozies finally shipping. Guess we were all wrong. Good thing you ordered early.

Brandy were doing Carnival... we always do Carnival other than 2 that Ive done on Norwegian but Im a big fan of the 24/7 ice cream machines that only Carnival seems to have so we keep going back! lol I would like to try another line someday but Carnival had this 2 wk cruise to Hawaii that was cheaper than a 7 day one on Norwegian so that was a no brainer! lol

We were originally going to get married in Hawaii as that is our favorite place to go and have been twice to Waikiki but because they dont have all inclusive resorts we decided on Mexico so of course we chose Hawaii for our honeymoon!!! So excited to see all the islands in one trip!

I wish we had a good reason like that but really we don't!! We wanted to get married mid-week becauase most of the flights were Fri, Sat and Sun so by getting married on Wed that gave people the option to fly out on any of those days and still make it for the wedding.... That's really about it!!!

Im not sure about the Riu Palace mexico but if you do a search on here for it im sure you'll get tons of info & feedback! As for the sand ceremony we're still undecided whether we'll be doing one or not so i'm not help there. When is your wedding?

Well I guess my complaining yesterday worked!!!!  I came home to find my OOT bags AND my luggage tag loops at my door!!! I'm very happy with them both!

 

Here are my OOT bags:

We decided to go with these ones vs. the canvas ones from cheaptotes.com because 1. they were cheaper at only $.79/ea and 2. they have gussets on them allowing for a flat bottom (which means they'll fit more stuff)

I'm happy with them!!! Hopefully the iron-on transfer works well!   (My mom is excited to finally have a "job" lol)

This week is going to be exciting for me too, I should be getting in my koozies and FI outfit and GM pants.

 

Kathy, I have never been on a carnival cruise, but had I of known about the 24/7 ice cream, I would have been on there ages ago lol!!!!! we have always done princess cruises, but I have dying to try a Royal Caribbean cruise!
