I was doing just fine, had my final count (I assumed those who did not RSVP just werent going) so Im there last night laying out my oot bags bc again I thought I had my final count and then chris goes "oh yeah, charlie and laura are considering booking" you can only imagine my reaction! So I had to put the oot bag building to a halt!  It was just an out of no where shock I guess like I said I hadnt heard anything from anyone I only received 12 RSVP's out of the 40 I sent, so my assumption was, if you didnt send it you must not be going, or if your unsure then you should have at least called one of us!

Ladies. I'm so close to going in sane because of my Travel Agent. I swear she has absolutely not an ounce of common sense. FI's mom was trying to get a hold of her like 2 days with no answer... finally we get an email from her about our travel arrangements. First, she writes "Hi Tristen," at the top. My name is IN MY EMAIL ADDRESS! How can you see "Trista" and still write "Tristen"? We've been speaking for months... it's just irritating! Second, she tells me that she can't seem to get a hold of FI's mom, which is bs. Come on. Third, I'm looking over what she sent and she has FI's brother, his gf, and FI's parents flying out from ANOTHER CITY!

Sorry to hear about the drama with your guests.

Trista LOL I hear you. I am on my third agent at Sears, don't book with them!!!! First one quit and didn't send out invoices after deposits were made and had the grooms name wrong on documents, second girl was a shit show and took over a week to call people back and didn't even return calls to me and then when I complained said she was very busy WHAT!!!!!! this is a $70,000 file and you better not be too busy so I sent a email on the weekend to the manager and she is now taking over the file and thank god cause she is much more organized! Things are getting done!

oh man do i hear you ladies with your travel agent woes....ours is a joke (for all the Canadians, do not book with FlightCentre in the future).  We also ended up sending a letter to the manager and having the manager take over our file.  The manager has been much more organized, but we are still dealing with the fallout from the original travel agent and her "misinformation" or "lack thereof".  Will be thankful when we have tickets in hand and do not have to deal with them any further!

We're on our 2nd one too! Our first one wouldn't answer our calls and literally had no idea what was talking about. So we went to this new company that was recommended by someone FI knows. Honestly, it's awful. And everyone I've talked to (including a bunch of us here apparently) have had nothing but bad TA experience. I really wish I would've done it all myself. It would have been less than a headache than chasing someone.
