Apola, that is horrible. But I am glad to hear that you are doing better and just need to relax and enjoy your engagement. Sounds like you need a stress relieving day away from wedding frustrations.

WOW Apola, Very glad to hear you are okay!!  I agree, I think we all put alot of pressure on ourselves to make this 'perfect', and sometimes we end up taking on more than we should.  I know I have had a few stressful days.  Maybe it's a good idea to take some time off.  Another thing is, I find this website extremely helpful and motivating except I think I try to do EVERY good idea I see, which in turn gives that much more to stress about.  NO MORE EBAY!!!! That's my new rule.... I was fine with my dress until I started reading others' second thoughts, then I started to think 'is mine good enough?' It is...I love it.  Anyway Hope you are feeling better and we're always here for you....

Okay, so before I go to bed, I have to tell you all what I came home to tonight!!

 

I have been hounding FI for weeks now to contact the guy to get our legal ceremony done... well, I come home today and he tells me that it's all set, we are getting married...... VALENTINE'S day!  So yea...our legal ceremony is Monday....  I'm kind of weirded out by this, I must say!  However, it's kind of cute because one thing you must know about FI is...he doesn't celebrate Valentine's day.  His reaction to Valentine's day is, 'Why celebrate our love on one given day when we can celebrate every day of the year.'  So, I just think it's cute that he picked that day!

 

Okay, I must go to bed now so I can get up at 5:20 AM!

Apola- so glad you're ok! Yeah, I need to stop stressing too. I had knee surgery about 3 weeks ago and went back to work after just a week. Boy am I in pain! And this has slowed down my wedding planning to almost a halt   I've been stressing about it wondering if I will even be able to walk down the aisle, but you're right. We should just enjoy this moment.

Apola-glad to hear you are feeling better. Your health is not worth all the little details because in the end all that matters is you and FI. I think I need to take some of my own advice lol

Tris we have a videographer booked for our wedding for about 4hours so I would love to get him to do something like that.

On another note my sister broke her ankle and now has to be off it for 6 weeks. Totally sucks for her and i hope she will be ok for the trip and wedding.

Apola, I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better!  It's certainly not worth the medical problems to stress!  I hope you are able to move on from that and bring the knowledge you've gained along with you through the rest of the process!
